Christopher D. Ramonetti is the founding managing partner and CEO of ProspEquity Partners in Tampa, Fla. ProspEquity Partners is an emerging private equity firm building shareowner value through conscious capitalism and a dedication to people and local communities.

Technologies, a global coffee ingredient, research, development and manufacturing firm.

Ramonetti has recruited a network of seasoned executives from Fortune 500 companies and global financial services firms, and built an institutional back-office operation to accommodate $500 million AUM, coordinating services from world-class legal, finance, accounting, technology, compliance and marketing service providers.

Previously, Ramonetti served as executive director for the Spaulding Group in Tampa where he sourced eight $5 million-plus middle market, sell-side engagements and executed transition management, cost structure improvement and operation enhancements to enable companies for investment or sale. He explored acquisition and growth financing through a combination of debt and equity with alternative lenders or regional banks such as SunTrust Financial.

Ramonetti’s background includes serving as regional modality leader and lead field service engineer/healthcare for General Electric in Boston, where he oversaw all aspects of a $160 million, 40-person field service operation that included 120 hospital accounts. He was also a marketing consultant, direct and chocolate for Mars, Inc., where he led an eight-person team in performing competitive landscape analysis that was used to shape go-to-market strategies for three new product lines across 25 major U.S. retailers.

Ramonetti is a partner for Nexus Global Youth, a board advisor for Angel Enterprises and a partner and panelist for Northeastern University and IDEA Program.

He is a graduate of Northeastern University, where he earned the MBA in High Technology. He also earned his BS in Electrical Engineering/Concentration Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts. He studied political science, engineering and neuroscience at the Universita di Roma- La Sapienza in Rome, Italy.
