As the leading gourmet food and floral gift provider for all occasions, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM is an industry pacesetter in embracing the latest innovations. Cristal Feliciano is a driving force behind the implementation and ongoing expansion of the Company’s innovative HR programs and processes.

Most recently, she helped spearhead enhancement of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM’s health and welfare benefits plan, implementing the Willis Towers Watson Benefit Marketplace. The Benefit Marketplace enables employees to customize their own benefits portfolio based on their individual needs, enabling them to select from a wide variety of product offerings ranging from medical, dental and vision plans, to life insurance, disability, and flexible spending accounts as well as voluntary products such as accident coverage, hospital coverage and other benefits options. Implementation of the Marketplace at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM involved close collaboration with the vendor along with extensive configuration, logistics and testing of technology systems.

Cristal also played a pivotal role in creating and launching a multi-tiered communication strategy to inform and educate employees about theBenefitMarketplace platform. Successful implementation of the Marketplace has resulted in cost effective streamlining of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM health and welfare benefits program while providing a more robust and diverse menu of benefits choices for the company’s 3,000 employees enterprise-wide.

Prior to joining 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Cristal held various human resources positions at The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. and at Mercer Health and Benefits.
